TUTOR SERVICE AGREEMENT
STARS TUTOR ACADEMY
This Tutor Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between:
Stars Tutor Academy (hereinafter referred to as “The Academy”) AND
The Registered Tutor (hereinafter referred to as “The Tutor”).
By registering with Stars Tutor Academy and submitting required documents, the Tutor agrees to the following legally binding terms and conditions:
1. PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT
The Academy operates as an educational service provider connecting tutors with students for home and online tuition services.
The purpose of this Agreement is to define the roles, responsibilities, commission structure, professional conduct, and termination policies governing the relationship between The Academy and The Tutor.
2. NATURE OF RELATIONSHIP
2.1 The Tutor shall operate as an independent contractor, not as an employee of the Academy.
2.2 Nothing in this Agreement shall be interpreted as creating an employer-employee relationship, partnership, or joint venture.
3. REGISTRATION & VERIFICATION
3.1 The Tutor must provide accurate and valid documentation for verification, including:
• CNIC (Front & Back cross and cut and also write tuition purposes only)
• Proof of Address (Electricity Bill with visible address)
• Educational Certificates
• Updated CV
• Recent Photograph (passport size preferable)
• School Job Card (if applicable)
• Online Teaching Sample (for online tutors) like video recording of previous online class
4. COMMISSION & PAYMENT TERMS
4.1 The Academy charges commission on the first month’s tuition fee as follows:
• Below PKR 20,000 → 50% Commission
• PKR 20,000 or above → 60% Commission
• Short-term tuition (45 days or less) → 20%–40% Commission (as determined by Academy)
5. NON-CIRCUMVENTION & CONFIDENTIALITY
5.1 The Tutor shall not bypass the Academy to deal directly with clients introduced by the Academy.
5.2 The Tutor shall not share client contact info, refer clients elsewhere, collect unauthorized payments, or avoid commission.
5.3 All client information is confidential. Violation may result in termination, penalty up to PKR 50,000, legal action, and blacklisting.
6. DEMO CLASS POLICY
Free demo class (max two sessions) may be required. Tutor may withdraw in demo phase. After confirmation, tutor must complete at least first month unless serious circumstances arise.
7. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Maintain punctuality, dress professionally, avoid mobile use in class, communicate respectfully, and focus on academics. No politics/sectarian talk, no family interference, no misconduct.
8. CANCELLATION & ATTENDANCE POLICY
Notify at least 2–3 hours before cancellation. More than 3 cancellations may result in PKR 1,000–5,000 penalty.
9. SAFETY & DATA PROTECTION
Data used only for academy purposes. Live location may be required during demo classes.
10. TERMINATION
Immediate termination for commission avoidance, client poaching, misconduct, fraud, non-response, or breach of clauses. May include permanent blacklisting.
11. BLACKLISTING CONSEQUENCES
Permanent removal, sharing misconduct records in networks, legal remedies under Pakistani law.
12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Resolve amicably first; otherwise jurisdiction of courts within Pakistan.
13. DECLARATION & ACCEPTANCE
By registering, tutor confirms they read/understood, accept commission, and agree to comply. Agreement effective upon registration and acceptance.
