1. PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT
The Academy operates as an educational service provider connecting tutors with students for home and online tuition services.
This Agreement defines roles, responsibilities, commission structure, professional conduct, and termination policies governing the relationship between The Academy and The Tutor.
2. NATURE OF RELATIONSHIP
2.1 The Tutor shall operate as an independent contractor, not as an employee of the Academy.
2.2 Nothing in this Agreement shall be interpreted as creating an employer-employee relationship, partnership, or joint venture.
3. REGISTRATION & VERIFICATION
3.1 The Tutor must provide accurate and valid documentation for verification, including:
• CNIC (Front & Back – cross and write “Tuition Purposes Only”)
• Proof of Address (Electricity Bill with visible address)
• Educational Certificates
• Updated CV
• Recent Photograph (passport size preferred)
• School Job Card (if applicable)
• Online Teaching Sample (video recording of previous online class)
3.2 The Academy reserves the right to approve, reject, or terminate registration based on verification results.
3.3 Submission of false or misleading information shall result in immediate termination and possible legal action.
4. COMMISSION & PAYMENT TERMS
4.1 First Month Commission Structure:
• Below PKR 20,000 → 50% Commission
• PKR 20,000 or above → 60% Commission
• Short-term tuition (45 days or less) → 20%–40% Commission (as determined by Academy)
4.2 First Month Policy:
• The Academy shall collect the first month’s fee directly from the client.
• The Tutor shall not collect the first month’s fee independently.
4.3 Payment Release:
• Payment shall be released within 4–5 working days upon submission of complete documents.
• Incomplete documentation may result in payment at month-end.
4.4 From the second month onward, the Tutor may collect monthly fees directly unless otherwise directed.
4.5 No Registration Fee, Security Deposit, Renewal Fee, or Hidden Charges shall apply beyond the stated commission.
5. NON-CIRCUMVENTION & CONFIDENTIALITY
5.1 The Tutor shall not bypass the Academy to deal directly with clients introduced by the Academy.
5.2 The Tutor shall not:
• Share client contact information
• Refer Academy clients elsewhere
• Collect unauthorized direct payments
• Attempt to avoid commission payments
5.3 All client information shall remain confidential.
5.4 Violation may result in: Immediate termination, penalty up to PKR 50,000, legal action, and permanent blacklisting.
6. DEMO CLASS POLICY
6.1 A free demo class (maximum two sessions) may be required.
6.2 The Tutor may withdraw during the demo phase without penalty.
6.3 Once selected and confirmed, the Tutor must complete at least the first agreed month unless serious circumstances arise.
7. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
The Tutor agrees to maintain punctuality, dress professionally, avoid mobile usage during sessions, communicate respectfully, and focus strictly on academics.
The Tutor shall not discuss sectarian matters or politics, interfere in family matters, behave inappropriately, or engage in misconduct.
Unprofessional behaviour may result in immediate termination.
8. CANCELLATION & ATTENDANCE POLICY
8.1 Notify the Academy at least 2–3 hours in advance for class cancellation.
8.2 More than 3 cancellations without valid reason may result in PKR 1,000 to PKR 5,000 penalty.
9. SAFETY & DATA PROTECTION
9.1 Tutor and student data shall be used strictly for Academy operational purposes.
9.2 Tutor may be required to share live location during demo classes for safety purposes.
10. TERMINATION
The Academy may terminate immediately for commission avoidance, client poaching, misconduct, fraud, non-response after referral, or breach of any clause.
11. BLACKLISTING CONSEQUENCES
Serious violations may result in permanent removal, sharing misconduct record within tutoring networks, and legal remedies under Pakistani law.
12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Disputes shall be resolved amicably first. If unresolved, jurisdiction lies with courts in Pakistan.
13. DECLARATION & ACCEPTANCE
By registering and confirming, the Tutor confirms they read and understood this Agreement, accept the commission structure, and agree to comply fully. This Agreement becomes effective upon registration and acceptance.
